He may be a dog, but he's the First Dog and his opinion counts.
Bo, the Obama family's Portuguese water dog, has given his stamp of approval to the White House's lavish holiday decorations - and the adorable inspection is captured on tape.
In the two minute highly-produced video, the country's most famous pet is seen roaming the decked halls of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, seeming left to his own devices.

Sometimes in slow motion, Bo inspects the decorations room by room, checking out the glittering lights, the shining baubles and the numerous wreaths on display at the coveted address.
But things go awry when he encounters a larger than life version of himself, standing next to the 18-foot-6-inch tall Fraser fir in the White House's Blue Room.
Bo's mood quickly turns from excitement to apprehension as he faces off with the giant imposter, made from thousands of black and white pom-poms.

The real Bo exchanges ominous glances with his rival, and the tension is ratcheted up with the help of some dramatic music. But the precious pup appears to emerge victorious.
He miraculously acquiring a red Santa hat in between shots and is seen panting for the camera as the film fades to a holiday greeting.

Yesterday, First Lady Michelle Obama unveiled a 300lb gingerbread replica of the White House as the centrepiece of this year's Christmas decorations.
And Bo, again, stole the limelight.
The impressive structure, which is sitting pride of place in the the State Dining Room, features an over-sized model of the adored pet, complete with his cute white paws.
Some 90,000 visitors are expected to come through the doors of the People's House to view the impressive display this holiday season.
