Ready for his close-up! Kanye West muscles his way through a fight scene on another day on set of Anchorman 2

He's known for spitting off lyrics that express his masculine fortitude.
And on the set of Anchorman: The Legend Continues, rapper Kanye West was able to put his words into action in a fight scene.
Making his first big screen cameo, the 35-year-old music man arrived to set on Thursday in Atlanta, Georgia, ready for anything.

His big film debut: Rapper Kanye West strangled an unidentified character on the set of Anchorman: The Legend Continues in Atlanta on Thursday

Sporting a 1970s mini afro, Kim Kardashian's boyfriend and father of her soon-to-be-born child looked the part for the comedy.
West wore a black leather motorcycle jacket with red accents and matching black leather pants.
A wolf T-shirt hid underneath his jacket, as well as a hint of a gold chain.
Though Kanye spouted off that haters say he doesn't 'wear enough baggy clothes, Reeboks or A-di-dos,' the Everything I Am rapper donned fresh white high-top Adidas trainers with red and blue stripes.

Messing around: The Stronger rapper seemed to be enjoying himself on set as he acted in a fight scene while sporting more grown out hair and an all-leather outfit

Make me laugh: Will Ferrell joined Mr. West on set, where the two chuckled together in their 1970s attire

The Grammy winner muscled his way through a fight scene with an unidentified character, strangling him with a hockey stick.
At one point during the scene, funnyman Will Ferrell joined Kanye and incited a chuckle in the musician.
Will, reprising his famous Ron Burgundy role, donned a three-piece suit in none other than the colour burgundy.

Giving it his all: The Grammy winner put all his effort into swinging a hockey stick that he later used as a weapon in the scene

This only boosts excitement for the film, as beloved characters played by Steve Carell, Paul Rudd, Christina Applegate and Vince Vaughn will be back, in addition to new characters played by Harrison Ford and Nicole Kidman.
Steve Carell was also spotted on set on Thursday in his role Brick Tamland.
His black hair was parted and slicked back, and was accessorised with the addition of sideburns very apropos of the comedy's era.
Unfortunately, US audiences will have to wait until December 20 to see exactly the roles Kanye and rumoured newcomers will play in the sequel.

Prepping: Steve Carell was spotted on set while his hair for character Brick Tamland was being touched up
